First to explain the reason I wrote this article. I have been betting on the net or at land based casinos for a great many years. I have discovered, the addiction can grab a hold of you and you won’t even realize it until you are flat broke. Particularly if you are on a winning streak. I’ve gone through countless tens of thousands of dollars in only a tiny period of time and still on occasion, I’ll go too far. It seems you are just having fun until you start to pay attention to your loss and the guilt sets in, and then you continue to tell yourself "I can earn it back" repeatedly. It never works. Then you feel sick in your gut and the more you attempt the faster you are deprived.
When you notice that you are ahead, STAY on the UP! When you start to be beaten, do not tell yourself, "well perhaps just one more" and again and again, believe me, this plan almost never ever works. Say you are playing on slots, have a bankroll set to the side before beginning your play. DO NOT go over that boundary, no matter how alluring. If you happen to win, put that in a separate cup. Do not risk your profits no matter what. Once you’ve played through your primary set limit, call it a day. Leave, whether it is on the web or at a brick and mortar betting house, do not stick around. Always keep in mind, there will be another day, another time.
Remember, wagering should be exciting not backbreaking, sickening work! If you are not enjoying yourself, you do not belong there. If youcan’t afford the cost, don’t even begin.
